What are the pool, dock & lake toy policies?

We ask that you read and respect the rules posted at the pool and we reserve the right to refuse use to anyone not abiding by such rules.

There are no parties allowed at the pool and only guests of the Terrace Cottages are permitted use of the pool, dock &/or lake toys.

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY!  Persons under the age of 18 years old MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian to swim in the pool, use the dock area or use any of the lake equipment.
POOL AREA MAXIMUM CAPACITY is 15 bathers at any time.
DURING HEAVY STORMS do not access the pool, area around the pool or dock for safety purposes.
NO DIVING OR RUNNING in the pool area.
ONLY GUESTS of the Terrace Cottages may use the pool, dock and lake toys.  We reserve the right to refuse use of the pool, dock &/or any of the lake toys to anyone.
LIFE VESTS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES when using any of the lake equipment.
EMERGENCY PHONE is located at Cottage 2 (two-story building).  For emergencies dial 911.

Lake Equipment Specific Regulations
The canoe is rated for a maximum of 750 pounds.
The kayak is rated for a maximum of 250 pounds.
The stand-up paddleboard is rated for a maximum of 250 pounds.
Under NO circumstances shall these limits be exceeded.

At all times any persons in the canoe and kayak shall stay seated.

Loss of paddles – $40 each; Loss of life vest – $50 each; Destruction or loss of canoe – $750; Destruction or loss of kayak – $600; Destruction or loss of stand-up paddleboard – $1200

Billing Questions

What is your cancellation policy?

No cancellations are permitted once your reservation has been made.

No refunds will be provided for early departures.

What kind of deposit is required to make a reservation?

A 50% deposit is due at the time the reservation is made and the balance is due 45 days prior to your check-in date.

How do I modify my reservation?

All changes to reservations must be made and confirmed by phone or via email. Please call us at 607-547-9979 or email us at terracecottages@gmail.com.

Can I pay for my room online?

A 50% deposit will be taken at the time your reservation is made and at the same time, you have the option to pay the amount in full.
